Help & FAQs

Refunds and returns

We hope you will be very pleased with your new purchase but should you not be…

Under distance and online-selling regulations we will be happy to offer you a refund if you’ve told us within 14 days of receiving your goods that you want to cancel. You then have another 14 days to return the goods once you’ve told us.

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back. You do not have to provide a reason although it will help us if you do. As we pay for postage on the way out, we ask, however, that you cover the costs of return postage.

In the case of any damaged goods, please contact us and we will arrange collection and pay for the return postage. We will then send you a replacement or refund you in full.

You will be notified of our returns address by email upon request and after verifying you are a purchaser from the site.

Placing the order and delivery

Will I receive an email confirmation and what payments are accepted?

Yes and also emails informing you of the progress of your order. We use PayPal and Stripe for payment.

How much will delivery cost?

All orders over £50 are free delivery. For anything under £50 there is a postage fee of £4. We use Royal Mail 48 hour tracked for postage. A1 and A2 Giclée prints are rolled in a strong cardboard tube. A3 prints come in a flat envelope. Tote bags and greetings cards arrive in a small sturdy box or envelope – all packaging is carefully sourced and recycled.

How long will the order take to be delivered?

Please allow up to two weeks in the case of prints and photographs as they are made to order, hand-signed and then posted out to you. Cards and tote bags we aim to be with you in about a week unless they are part of a larger order and you would prefer everything to be sent together.

Where do we deliver to?

Mainland Britain only. Sorry, Highlands of Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Other things

What is a Gicleé print?

A Gicleé print is essentially a very high quality – and resolution – inkjet image printed onto subtly textured papers. It is pronounced “zhee-clay” and comes from the French verb gicler meaning to splash! Our super professional printers in East London say their Gicleé prints have an archival life of 80 years in daylight to 200 years in the dark. So try not to display your print in direct sunlight s’il vous plaît.

Framing

Currently, we do not offer a framing service. The prints and photographs are designed to fit readymade ‘A’ size frames making framing economical. Alternatively your framer can trim or mount the print to fit a custom made frame. For Gicleé prints we suggest using any frame where the glass does not touch the print. Any of the following are available as readymade and custom frames or let your framer make you a bespoke option.

A box frame creates a space between the glass and the print for a contemporary feel.

A floating frame mounts the artwork on a pad. The space between the work and the moulding gives the impression that the artwork is floating within the frame.

A traditional frame with a mount keeps the artwork away from the glass.
